About the Event
Come with us on a journey to unlock your creativity, learn to draw plants and be in open-hearted connection with them, here in the beautiful tranquil herb garden at Shaftesbury Abbey. This day of mindfulness begins with drawing plants and then we spend time drawing and connecting with the essence of the plants.
During the morning on this workshop you will learn how to observe and capture different plants quickly and intuitively using a simple selection of graphite pencils and coloured pencils.
The afternoon gives us a wonderful opportunity to use our newly learnt drawing techniques whilst enabling our senses, our hearts, to tune in with the plant’s essence.
Heather has 20 years of experience teaching drawing to students of all abilities.She uses a variety of media in her own practice, but is predominantly known for her detailed graphite drawing. Her aim is to enable students to feel more confident in…
